Biography: 

Linda has been a member of the Women’s Fund since 2011. She had the good fortune to train for public service through a CORO Fellowship at Bryn Mawr Graduate School of Social Work & Social Research receiving a Masters in Law & Social Policy and a Masters in Social Services. While living in the Bay Area from 1985 to 1994, Linda worked at the California Children’s Research Institute, coordinated East Bay Projects for Hands on Bay Area and co-founded the Children & Families Action Network in Alameda County. She moved to Santa Barbara County in 1994 and since then spearheaded instituting Music & Arts Education at Solvang School and other public schools, served on the boards of the Solvang School Education Foundation–now S.A.M. Solvang Arts & Music (Past President, current advisor), Solvang Festival Theater, CAMA, Valley Community Theatre (President), PCPA Foundation and currently serves on the boards The Santa Ynez Valley Foundation (the community foundation which serves Santa Ynez Valley and Los Alamos) and Santa Barbara Strings (founding President), as well as advising other nonprofits. She now serves as Event Coordinator for the Women’s Fund is very happy to be volunteering with such dynamic and compassionate women.
