The following Women’s Fund volunteer positions are available to all current Women’s Fund members who meet the specified requirements.


Job Title

Data Analyst

Description

Responsible for analyzing and presenting Women’s Fund data to inform leadership decision-making.  Subjects for analysis could include membership demographics, past grants, event costs and attendance, etc.

  • Obtain and analyze Women’s Fund data from a variety of sources–membership database, membership surveys, research and grantee reports, event summaries–depending on information needed by leadership.
  • Prepare reports on analyzed subjects utilizing narrative explanations and graphics.
  • Post analyses on website library for leadership use and reference.

Requirements

  • Strong computer skills, including excel and graphics.
  • Good organizational and communications skills.
  • Ability to translate data into understandable results and trends.

Job Title

Membership Events Coordinator

Description

  • Work with the Membership and Communications/Marketing Committees, provide logistical support for 5-6 membership events.
  • Coordinator is not responsible for logistics at the Presentation of Grants or Site Visit Kick-Off.
  • Select and acquire food to be served, secure venues, arrange for parking and coordinate volunteers for membership events.

Requirements

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Event planning experience is a plus.
  • Attend monthly Membership Committee meetings.

Job Title

Volunteer Liaison

Description

  • Contact members who identify on their join/renew forms that they are interested in getting more involved in the operation of the Women’s Fund. Ascertain time available, special skills that the member would like to use and member’s areas of interest. Match member’s interests with available positions and share suggestions with committee chairs.
  • Track potential Women’s Fund volunteers. 
  • Have current knowledge of available volunteer opportunities. Communicate with committee chairs about volunteers needed.
  • Notify Information Technology Manager of volunteer placements so she can update member records in the database.
  • Assist the Nominating Committee in recruiting for leadership positions.
  • Keep job descriptions current. Draft job descriptions for new volunteer positions.
  • Attend some planning meetings with committees involved with Events. Attend Steering Committee meetings as needed.
  • Most work is done independently.
  • Reports to Steering Committee Co-Chairs.

Requirements

  • Candidate should enjoy engaging in conversations with Women’s Fund members. 
  • Some knowledge of Word and good communication and organizational skills.
