Teen Programs Expansion

United Boys & Girls Clubs in Carpenteria, Goleta and Santa Barbara serve low income and at-risk youth by offering a safe, structured and nurturing environment after school.  Many of the children served come from single parent families who would, without the Clubs, be on the streets or home alone. The grant enabled the Clubs to expand hours and programs.  The Clubs offer vital resources to help at risk youth gain skills and develop self awareness, and provide an alternative to gangs
