Biography: 

Margie joined the Women's Fund in 2020. She is a veteran television journalist who worked as an anchorperson, reporter, and producer for twenty-five years. She spent most of her career in Boston, anchoring the evening news and hosting an interview program called "NewsNight" that focused on the most pressing issues of the day. Previously Margie anchored in Detroit and Austin. After leaving television she served a fellowship at Harvard University's Kennedy School of Government and produced a documentary about the changing political nature of cable news. In 2004 Margie transitioned to working with non-profit organizations as a Communications and Marketing Director. She has worked with the Center for Creative Education and Schoolyard Films in Florida and most recently worked on special projects for the Santa Barbara Foundation. Margie and her husband live in Santa Barbara with their red labradoodle, Finley.
