Biography

Marsha became a member of the Women’s Fund in 2014 and currently serves on the Nominating Committee. She received her Bachelor’s and Master’s in Nursing from UCLA and worked in Respiratory and Medical ICU and on the Bone Marrow Transplant Team. After completing a portion of Doctoral courses in Nursing at USD, she taught nursing in St. Vincent, West Indies as a Peace Corps Volunteer and in the bachelor’s program at Mount St. Mary’s College. She directed the Critical Care Master’s Program at CSULB; served as the Curriculum Coordinator for the Statewide Nursing Program; and served as a consultant to the Ministry of Public Health in Kuwait. Marsha was also the Director of the Regional Health Occupations Resource Center through the California Community Colleges Chancellor’s Office. She is currently a Board member of Youth & Family Services, YMCA.
