Kerry joined the Women’s Fund in 2019. Until her retirement in 2019, she was the owner of HollandParlette, an Association Management Company (AMC) headquartered in San Francisco. The company specializes in providing strategic direction and management to non-profit organizations. Throughout her 30+ year career, she served as Executive Director for a wide range of regional, state, and national membership organizations where she was responsible for financial management, board leadership, conferences, grant writing, membership development, communications, advocacy and public relations. She is a Certified Association Executive (CAE), a credential she earned in 1991 from the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE). She was also awarded Lifetime Membership in ASAE in 2005. Kerry holds a bachelor’s degree in Journalism from the University of Iowa and a master’s degree in Public Administration (MPA) from Iowa State University. Kerry has been married for 38 years to James Parker who is Director, Patient Financial Services at Cottage Health in Santa Barbara. They have one son, Reid, who lives in Seattle.
